Who Are We?

Dirty Little Roots is a family business: Robia, her husband Joel, her sister Audrey, and the (mostly grown up) kids. Joel has been building and managing agricultural operations for a long time so when Robia decided to expand her horizons beyond her successful tattoo business and 20+ year career in sales, this pivot bloomed organically. Audrey with her public relations background brings digital native marketing skills to the back end. Joel and Robia's daughters help pack and ship your orders with care and add the loving finishing touches.

As avid plant collectors (with expensive taste) we hand-select every single succulent we sell. We are lucky to live in a location that provides excellent opportunity for this. North San Diego County is one of the most prolific growing climates in the world, with dozens of specialty nurseries tucked into the hills all around us.
